Two New Trustees Welcomed

Angela EserinAs the workloads being generated by the various projects has steadily increased it became obvious that more and expert help was needed. So the Trustees were delighted when Angela Eserin accepted their invitation to join them.

Angela has had a long career working for Hertfordshire Libraries at the Campus West Library, where she was the Local Studies Librarian for over 10 years. In that capacity she undertook to sort and catalogue the Osborn Archive, which is held in a room off the main library and contains all the collected papers produced by Sir Frederic during his remarkable life.

Lorraine DewarLorraine Dewar has also joined the board as our financial controller. In the early days of the Trust we were operating on little more than petty cash but as things have developed over the last year, particularly with funding the Feasibility Study for the Heritage Centre, someone with experience in keeping accounts became essential. Following Lorraine’s arrival we have already appointed an accountant for the Trust and made our first formal reports. As an added bonus we are getting someone with a knowledge of websites that we have been lacking up until now.
