Following the successful presentation to a group of Key Stakeholders in Welwyn Garden City the Trustees will be holding a similar meeting for members of the general public.

Angela EserinAs the workloads being generated by the various projects has steadily increased it became obvious that more and expert help was needed. So the Trustees were delighted when Angela Eserin accepted their invitation to join them.

WGC 90th BirthdayWelwyn Garden City birthday celebrations continue with an event in the town centre on Saturday the 11th of September. The event takes place from 12pm to 6pm in the town centre and will include fun and games for all ages: a giant inflatable assault course and high slide, outdoor roller rink, a cake competition, town trail treasure hunt, live music, artists, the Fine Food and Craft Market, funfair rides, balloon modellers, face painting, a multicoloured fountain and much more.

Following receipt of the substantial funds last month the Trustees moved quickly to purchase top-line equipment, such as that used by leading museums, to enable them to record residents recollections of their early life in Welwyn Garden City. First priority is to teach volunteers how to use the equipment and to organise protocols for interviewing residents with stories to tell.
